How Do We Combat Dependency?

The Lord is exalted, for he dwells on high;
he will fill Zion with justice and righteousness,
and he will be the stability of your times,
- Isaiah 33:5-6

ARDF Answers

We feel good about giving, but when recipients overseas receive money with no long-term plan to address the underlying problems, this leads to dependency. Dependency is destructive when it undermines self-reliance. How does ARDF make sure that our projects do not fall into this cycle?
